Rediscovering myself
Five years ago, I was researching mushroom biomaterials when my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer. While looking for ways to support her, I discovered the fascinating world of functional mushrooms. That experience made me realise mushrooms aren't just food, they're incredible biological systems with enormous potential. Years later, when I found myself feeling disconnected, drained, and creatively stuck, functional mushrooms became part of my own journey back to myself. And that's how Mikilium was born. A place where science, nature and art come together to help us live more artfully and mindfully.
